Biography
Dr. Ahmed Al-Alousi brings over 25 years of experience in telecommunications, central government digital transformation and critical national infrastructure. With a proven track record at Vodafone Group, Vodafone UK, Telefónica O2 and Du Telecommunications, he has extensive experience managing sensitive information systems across multiple government departments including Crown Prosecution Service, Department for Work and Pensions, and Nuclear Decommissioning Agency.
His technical expertise spans enterprise architecture (TOGAF 9.2 L2), cloud architecture across AWS, Azure and GCP, and information security for classified data handling. He holds a PhD in Electronic Engineering from Brunel University London and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Manchester.
Ahmed is certified as an AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, and holds memberships with MBCS, MIET, and MIEEE. His focus on inclusive leadership and stakeholder engagement has been instrumental in delivering citizen-centric digital services whilst ensuring accessibility and cultural sensitivity.
